#Bigwrap2025 is in full swing at Havant Academy Amazing to see the #community come together, friends of the school, volunteers and school staff working hard together to get deliveries to our families and young people. We support families in the community to have an enjoyable Christmas🎄who may be experiencing difficult times by providing gifts, festive items and food. Our Year 10 #catering #students students took a well-deserved break from their NEA (Non-Examination Assessment) to get into the holiday spirit. The task? The classic #ChristmasYuleLog. The students showcased some fantastic technical skills, including: Perfecting a light sponge. Filling with sweet strawberry jam. Coating and decorating with rich chocolate buttercream. We saw some truly professional results and wonderful creativity. It was the perfect way to de-stress and celebrate their hard work this term. Year 9 and 10 #students attended HSDC to take part in a #dance workshop with the college first years (which included an ex-student of ours) followed by watching a performance of the college's Christmas show. Christmas Box Competition 2025. #FoodBankPO9 are a voluntary group which can collect and distribute food parcels to anyone in need of a little support.
