Governing Body Membership and Structure

The Havant Academy constitution is made up of 12 governors.

  • 1 Headteacher

  • 2 staff governors 

  • 2 parent governors

  • 7 appointed governors 

We currently have vacancies for 3 appointed governors.

Structure

There are six meetings of the full Local Governing Body each academic year.  There is a Pay Committee who meet once a year to consider and agree pay recommendations.
