We welcomed 78 pupils and staff from Front Lawn Primary Academy today to watch a #Christmas movie 🍿 Pupils earned their silver band #reward for excellent behaviour this term. We will be serving Christmas Lunch🎄to all our #students and #staff on Tuesday 16 December between 12pm and 2pm. Year 7 #students were given the opportunity to participate in a #poetry workshop with Chris Redmond, a professional poet who has performed in 20 countries on five continents with features on BBC Radio 1, 2, 4, 6Music and Sky Arts. It was fantastic to see how year 7 explored their creativity and made some poems about their favourite objects. This was an event organised by the National Literacy Trust as part of #youngpoets Week. Today we held our Silent Disco for students who have previously achieved 100% attendance and students who attained the top 10 attitude to learning within their year groups. Student's (and staff) loved the atmosphere and a fantastic time was had by all with some serious dance moves on display 🕺 🪩 We are holding another Silent Disco for 100% attendees on Monday 15 December. Students who achieve 100% attendance between 02 and 12 December will be invited to this event. Last week the Year 7 and Year 8 #netball teams were back in action. The Year 7 only had 1 game this week and beat Warblington. Kirsty was voted #playerofthematch for the 4th time in a row! The Year 8 team also played Warblington this week and won with Cherish and Poppie both scoring goals. More games to come next week. Well done girls!
